Texas A&M Wide Receiver – Speedy Noil

I would like to personally thank the families who decided to give their children…well… perfect names.  Here are some of the best names of athletes:

This talented receiver lives up to his name.  He runs a 4.45 second forty yard dash.  He is now a freshman at Texas A&M, but he was the number seven overall high school prospect and the number one wide receiver prospect according to ESPN’s top 300 list.  This season he has thirty-six receptions for 461 yards and four touchdowns.

University of Arizona Linebacker – Scooby Wright

The sophomore linebacker for the wildcats has had an exceptional year so far.  He is fourth in the nation with 12.1 tackles per game and second in the nation for both tackles for losses per game (2.3) and sacks per game (1.5).  Unlike Speedy Noil, Scooby was lightly recruited out of high school but is now one of the best defensive players in the country.  He has won back to back pac-12 defensive player of the week awards.

Highly recruited high school point guard – Seventh Woods

A member of the class of 2016, he is one of the best young players in the country.  He has taken the internet by storm with his explosive dunks and pure athletic ability.

Eastern Michigan University Defensive End – Lion King Conaway

There is nothing special to say about this freshman defensive end.  But his name is Lion King!  How awesome is that?

Green Bay Packers Safety – Ha Ha Clinton Dix

This is unquestionably my favorite name of all time.  I would be lying if I said I have not used his name for a takeout order at a restaurant.  Nevertheless, the rookie first round draft pick out of Alabama University has gotten major playing time and has been a solid addition to their roster.
